I came to see Dr Klemperer to be assessed for potential ADHD inattentive type. I found her very easy to talk to and her approach supportive, informative and caring. She gave me ample opportunity to talk and answered my questions thoroughly.
We remained in contact after my initial assessment and she supported me to transfer my care to my NHS doctor. She also offered suggestions of further ways I could support myself and always replied swiftly. Since my follow up appointment she has also offered to support me and my doctor to find the correct medication and dosage that works for me. This is despite no longer being formally in her care. I would definitely recommend her. My only recommendation for anyone seeking diagnosis is to ensure if you are to change your care back to the NHS at any point that you have a supportive and understanding NHS doctor who will be prepared to do so.
Dr Klemperer is not only professional but kind and caring. She always advises what the patient is comfortable with and is very understanding of the unique difficulties faced by the patient.
She combines her impeccable professional qualifitications with a soft and gentle human side, which in today's world is quite rare indeed.
After a brash first experience with a psychiatrist I decided I would keep my distance from the field as I worked through my journey. That was until I was forced to visit one once more. After spending a long time researching numerous potentials I came across Dr. Klemperer. It was her mix of expertise in the scientific field, but interest in the more talking-based psychotherapy that appealed to me.
From the off I could tell Frances was someone I was going to be comfortable with. She has a calming nature and is incredibly committed to finding the right path for you. Something she proved in her great after-care emails on numerous occasions. I couldn't recommend her highly enough, and was surprised at how quickly she made a difference.
